There are padded inserts in the bra that are quite thick but have a small diameter. They might work in the small size but not in the xl bra as they sort of float on top of your breasts and are visible through clothes. I tried wearing one of these bras for a few hours at home and I developed a rash where it had been touching me, I don't know for sure that it was related to the bra, but I do wonder if there was some kind of irritating dye or other processing/laundry chemical on it.

Comfy to wear as nice and soft however the pads are an odd shape, but this gets worse as you wear it as they move about. Also the bra goes out of shape and has now stretched so it's baggy and no longer fits. As i've worn them i can't return so a bit of a waste of money .
